First event held at Douglas T. Jacobson Veteran's Home Port Charlotte, Florida
November 12th 2025 - Featuring the Amazing and Talented American Bombshells - They entertained us in honor of Veterans Day. Our Veterans, nursing home staff, and the Board of Directors were in awe of the voices, talent, beauty and love and compassion shown by these women.
One Veteran cried when the girls came over to introduce themselves. One telling him about her husband being a Veteran and how proud she was of him - his tears with genuine and sincere. As I write this I remember the tears that fell from my own eyes as I thought of my father, WWII.
Then onto Riverwood Community Center, where once again we were entertained. The American Bombshells provided Americana Songs and entertianed by dancing with our guests, and providing memories for all who attended. Compliments came from almost everyone in attendance.
Yes, we shall return next year!
